With a fabulous view of the government dock you can watch sea planes, water taxis, whale watchers, fishing boats and kayakers. Keep your eyes peeled for eagles, herons, seals and otters. Look over to Meares Island, Lone Cone and Cat Face Mountain from the living room or from your own hot tub on the spacious cedar deck. Part of a Tofino house with one other suite, The Suite at Vista Hermosa gives you your own spacious and private accommodations overlooking the ocean.

The Suite at Vista Hermosa invites you to relax in style. The living and dining room offers a cozy atmosphere with a gas fired stove, candles, an entertainment centre with a selection of music and videos, books and board games. Enjoy the view during the day from the large picture windows and turn the lights down low at night to watch the stars over Tofino.

The modern kitchen is equipped with range, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and, of course, a coffee machine. Cooking ware is provided and the kitchen is stocked with a variety of spices. Like your food grilled? Check out the large BBQ located just steps from the entry on the deck.

The Suite at Vista Hermosa has one-bedroom with a futon couch in the living room. It is a great space for couples or a small family. With two bathrooms there is no waiting if one of you wants to soak in the tub and one wants a fast shower. The bedroom is is great place to curl up in with a queen size bed, lots of comfy pillows and a soft duvet.

Fishing in Tofino? The Vista Hermosa is your perfect fishing accommodation. Just below Vista Hermosa is our secure, fenced and gated yard that can accommodate two 35 foot motor boats or sail boats. With easy driving access and a large sliding gate you may easily secure your boat inside our yard. There is also a private, locked boathouse for your gear. The Tofino public dock where you may launch your boat is just down the street. At the end of the day cook your catch in our well-stocked kitchen and relax in the hot tub and deck chairs.

Kayaking in Tofino? The Vista Hermosa is your perfect kayaking accommodation. Just below Vista Hermosa is our secure, fenced and gated yard with private, locked boathouse that can accommodate four kayaks. By summer 2007 we will be accommodating up to eight kayaks. With easy driving access and a large sliding gate you may easily secure your kayaks inside our boathouse. The Tofino kayak launch is located right beside the yard. At the end of the day cook your dinner in our well-stocked kitchen and relax in the hot tub and deck chairs.

The Suite at Vista Hermosa overlooks the Tofino harbour and right down in front is the government dock where you can book a water taxi to Meares Island or a scenic sea plane trip. If you bring your own kayak the kayak launch is also right in front, beside the dock. The Suite is the ideal location for exploring downtown Tofino shops and galleries, booking a whale watching or kayak trip, walking to sandy Tonquin Beach or heading out to Long Beach or any of the Pacific Rim Park hiking trails.

At the end of your day head back The Suite at Vista Hermosa. If you played in the sand, hiked a muddy trail or spilled sunscreen on your shorts - no worries, just throw them into the suite's washer and dryer. Then take yourselves to your own hot tub and let the warm water and the beauty of Tofino relax you into 'Tofino Time'.
