Tofino Kayaking
These photos are from a day trip where we paddled across the Tofino Harbour to Meares Island. We toured around the sheltered waters exploring the shoreline and taking in the expansive views. Seals, birds, fish, kelp beds, mountains and old growth forest are all part of the experience!

Kayaking in Tofino is a great experience for beginners and experienced kayakers. As soon you begin to float on the ocean, you enter a new world. Paddle across the Tofino harbour and head over the calm waters to Meares Island. Beach your kayak and hike the Big Tree Trail. Paddle through the harbour and over to Browning Pass and explore the coast of Meares Island or the inland area of Jensen's Bay and nearby islands.
