The north part of South Beach Trail starts at the Kwistis Visitor Centre and heads south from the centre to South Beach. The trail is level and we think a wheelchair could go along it until the First Nations totem pole and view point area. Please ask in the centre before heading out.

Full disclosure – We really dig totems. Part of why we like this trail so much is this totem. Just look at that face!
The totem stands in a small clearing a short way down the trail. There is also a viewpoint of the beach and ocean there.
The viewpoint overlooks the south end of Wickaninnish Beach. Take a detour if you like, lots of time. We’ll wait….
The South Beach Trail from Kwistis Visitor Centre continues on a level path to a picnic area. Keep going.
What another little beach along the way. So many beaches, so little time. But we can stop and explore here too!
Then we continue on the trail to South Beach.
And here we are at Magical South Beach in the Pacific Rim National Park, Tofino, BC, Canada
Check tides first and head out a low tide for the most beach.
